Isle of Man opportunities
This page flags current listings that show one or both of two signals: the property has had recent planning activity (an application filed against its address), or it was sold before, according to the Isle of Man Land Registry's transaction register. Neither signal is proof of anything on its own — a planning application could be a neighbour's, and a prior sale just means the property changed hands — but together, or in an unusual pattern (bought, then a planning application, now back on the market again), they're worth a closer look. 247 listings match your filters below.
A listing gets a Planning tag when this site's planning dataset has an application against the same address within your chosen time window (default: the last 5 years). It gets a Sold tag when the sold-price register shows a completed sale at that address within your chosen window (default: the last 5 years). Addresses are matched automatically by text, not a shared property ID, so an occasional mismatch is possible — always click through and check. See Development watch for the narrower, higher-confidence version of this idea: only properties where a sale was followed by planning permission, told as that specific story.
This site's planning dataset currently covers decisions from 4 Jan 2011 to 29 Dec 2023 — so "planning activity in the last 5 years" can only be as complete as that window; asking for a longer window won't find anything the dataset doesn't already contain. The sold-price register goes back to 1990, so "sold in the last 5 years" has no such caveat — it's a genuine full-depth search.
Leave both boxes unticked to see listings with either signal on its own; tick one or both to require it — ticking both narrows to the strongest combination.
